Resolution to Update the Administrative Policy Manual: Policy 02-42: 2 Sexual Harassment Prevention

WHEREAS, pursuant to Tompkins County Administrative Manual Policy 01-04, Legislative approval (a
4 formal vote) is required for new policies or for changes to existing policy, and

6 WHEREAS, Policy 02-42: Sexual Harassment Prevention has been significantly updated to reflect changes in
7 New York State legislation. Updates have been made to extend the policy's application to the remote work
8 environment, and to include clear definitions on terms, and
9
10 WHEREAS, the policies above have been updated by the respective responsible departments and further
11 reviewed by County staff and Legislators, now therefore be it
12
13 RESOLVED, on recommendation of the Budget, Capital, and Personnel and Government Operations
14 Committees, That the changes to Policies 02-42 are hereby adopted in the Administrative Policy Manual.
